Abstract- Camera based object tracking is to find a target object within different images. The system consists of a two motor pan-tilt camera driving mechanism It uses image processing techniques to identify and locate the object in 3D scene and motion control algorithms to direct the camera towards the object.Object tracking in image sequence has various application ranging from human-computer interaction, security and surveillance, video communication to augmented reality. The object tracking system is used to find out the motion performed by the user and calculate the actual co-ordinates and then control the hardware activities as per the user instruction.
